Thames & Kosmos UK are pleased to welcome Stephen Lyssejko as the new Head of Board-Game Marketing.
When looking for the right person to suit the role, it was imperative for Thames & Kosmos UK to find a candidate who could immerse themselves fully into the board-game side of the business.
Stephen has been a board-game enthusiast since 2008 while studying Multimedia Technology and Design (BSc) at University. After a game of Pandemic with friends, an impromptu club was formed that met every week to play games. Since then, Stephen’s passion for and collection of board games has grown and grown, with his estimate being somewhere between 70-80 games on the shelf (and counting!).
After leaving University, Stephen worked in a variety of roles; filming events, advertisements and editing YouTube videos freelance. Looking to expand his skill set, he studied to become a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language, and later achieved a Primary PGCE with a specialism in mathematics. His work in both the Media and Education industries, along with an established enthusiasm for the hobby and the community that surrounds it, made him an excellent match for the role.
